Soffit & Fascia Repair and Installation in Greensburg, PA and Westmoreland, Indiana Counties, PA

Your fascia and soffit, or rather the “trim” around your roof, do more than just make your roof look attractive. They’re also critical parts of the construction, providing ventilation and protecting your home, and damage to each of them can result in leaks.

What They Are

Soffit

The Soffit is the part of the roof underneath the overhang, between the edge of the roof and the side of your home.

Fascia

The Fascia is the “transition rim” between the home and the roofline—it is the board along the side of the overhang and the roof, that holds up your gutter.

Replacement

Soffit and Fascia are critical parts of your roof ventilation, and are important for preventing roof and shingle damage. Improper installation can lead to rotted wood, peeling paint, and damaged insulation. Rotting wood, leaks, discoloration, or peeling paint can all be signs that these elements of your roof need to be replaced.

If you’re already replacing or repairing your siding or roof, it may be time to replace your soffit or fascia as well.
